JFK Hyannis Museum to Broadcast JFK Library Forums Live

HYANNIS – The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum is now a satellite location for the JFK Library Forum programs.

The museum in Hyannis will broadcast live events from the JFK Library and Museum in Boston.

The first program today at 6 p.m. will be a panel discussion on the opportunities and challenges for the incoming Trump administration.

The panelists include Brian McGrory, the editor of The Boston Globe, Heather Cox Richardson, a Boston College historian and Ron Suskind, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist.

Attendees at the Hyannis museum will also be able to interact and participate in live question and answer segments.

“They are pleased in Boston to be bringing the JFK Library to an extended audience so it’s a win-win on their part,” said John Allen, the executive director of the JFK Hyannis Museum. “They see this as a very strong way to have collaboration between the two museums.”

A second event held on Tuesday will feature Jean Kennedy Smith discussing her new book, “The Nine of Us: Growing Up Kennedy.” Her son Stephen Smith will also be a speaker.

Allen said the program is another way of bringing important, national voices to the region to make the Cape Cod experience richer for residents and visitors.
