Lightning Causes Damage to Falmouth Baseball Field

street lightsFALMOUTH- Light poles at Guv Fuller Field in Falmouth were struck by lightening in Wednesday’s storm, which has made organizers with the Cape Cod Baseball League re-schedule upcoming games.

As a result of the storm, all the light poles are out completely with no date determined when they’ll be fixed, according to John Garner of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

Friday’s game between Falmouth and Cotuit has been moved up from 6:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Monday’s game between Falmouth and Bourne has been moved up to the same times.

So far organizers have only re-schedule those two games as they await a time table for repairs.
