HARWICH – The Harwich Conservation Trust and Eastham Conservation Foundation are inviting you to take a walk under the full moon.

In July and August, join 12th generation Cape Codder Todd Kelley and Native American Nipmuc/Wampanoag Marcus Hendricks on a walk exploring the cultural and natural nightlife of Cape Cod.

You can learn about the lifeways of Native Americans as well as old Cape Codders in relation to the rhythms of native plants and animals at dusk and during the night.

The walks take place around the summer full moons in July and August and recommended for people ages 12 and olders.

The July full moon walk will take place on Monday, July 10 and the August full moon walk on August 7.

Both begin at 6 p.m. at the Cape Cod National Seashore in Eastham. If you go, wear walking or hiking shoes, long sleeves, lightweight pants and bring water.

The walks will head over a woodland trail, some paved bike trails, a wooden footbridge and some soft beach sand.
