Man Dies After Being Struck on Route 25 On-Ramp

BUZZARDS BAY – A man was struck and killed by a pickup truck in the area of the Route 25 on-ramp in Buzzards Bay yesterday.

He was taken to Tobey Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Emergency officials responded to the scene shortly before 5 o’clock, and believe the man was attempting to cross the on-ramp.

The accident remains under investigation by Bourne police, the names of the victim or the driver have not been released.
