BUZZARDS BAY – Commencement at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy is just over 5 months away and the school has announced three special honorees.
President and CEO of GE Power and Senior Vice President of GE Steve Bolze will deliver the commencement address and Karin Orsel, the owner and CEO of Netherlands-based MF Shipping Group will give a charge to the class.
Both speakers will be awarded honorary doctorates, along with former chairman of the Academy’s board of trustees Richard Covel, who also served as the vice president/general counsel of Dynamics Research Corporation.
Commencement is June 17.
