BOSTON (AP) — Gas prices in Massachusetts continue to drop and are now at their lowest level for this time of year since 2004.
AAA Northeast reported Monday that self-serve, regular is selling for an average of $2.14 per gallon, 2 cents lower than a week ago. The price is also 2 cents below the national average for the same grade and 50 cents lower than it was a year ago.
On Cape Cod, the average cost of a gallon of gasoline is $2.18, according to AAA.
AAA found a wide range of prices for self-serve, regular, from a low of $1.95 to a high of $2.49 per gallon.
