Nantucket Historical Association to Offer Free After-School Activities

NANTUCKET – Families can enjoy free after-school activities this winter at the Nantucket Historical Association, 13 Broad Street.

The organization’s Discovery Room will host Discovery Days filled with activities like crafts, games, artifact examinations, stories and more, each following a historical theme.

This year’s themes include Nantucket natives, outdoor explorations, daring daughters, myths and mysteries, and sailor’s souvenirs.

Discovery Days will be offered Monday through Friday, January 30^th through March 31^st from 3 to 5 p.m. Extended hours from 1 to 5 p.m. will be offered February 27^th through March 3^rd to accommodate school vacation week.
