HYANNIS – National Grid will contribute grant money to Cape Cod Child Development’s summer camp as part of an initiative on supporting Science-Technology-Engineering-Math (STEM) programs locally.
The more than 120 children enrolled in the 10-week summer camp through three centers in Hyannis, Falmouth and Yarmouth, will get to take advantage of programs supported by the funding.
The funding will support partnerships with Mass Audubon, the Waquoit Nature Preserve and the Boston Museum of Science’s Traveling Program, all designed to reinforce STEM curriculum.
Cape Cod Child Development is a nonprofit that provides care and resources to children and families on Cape Cod and the Islands.
