New LED Lights Installed in Yarmouth

YARMOUTH – Street lights in Yarmouth have been successfully upgraded to new LED lights.

Siemens has finished the installation of the lights, which use about 70 percent less energy than the previous lights.

The town estimates they’ll be able to save about 40 to 50 percent on energy costs as a result of the upgrade.

The new lights are the result of a partnership between the town and the Cape Light Compact.
