WEST BARNSTABLE – A new Veteran’s Center is now open on the campus of Cape Cod Community College, it opened Monday.

A short remembrance ceremony was conducted at the official unveiling, according to Four C’s spokesman Michael Gross.

Gross says the Center is a gathering place where experiences can be shared.

There’s an open lounge with tables and a big TV, a coffee maker and things of that sort. It’s where veterans can just find a place to talk with other veterans.”

The center was unveiled yesterday after a ceremony representing all branches of the armed services, Gross says there are hundreds of vets currently attending the college.
