Newtown Students to Attend School on Shootings Anniversary

AP LogoNEWTOWN, Conn. (AP) — Newtown officials said they will try to make tomorrow as normal a school day as possible.

It’s the first time students will be attending school on the anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.

Twenty first-graders and six educators were killed Dec. 14, 2012.

Monday is the first time the anniversary falls on a weekday.
