Olympic Torch on Cape Today

olympic torchBOURNE – Cape Cod law enforcement personnel took part today in the Special Olympics Torch Run, passing the torch from Provincetown to Bourne.

The event got under way this morning at Provincetown Police Headquarters at about 5 a.m. Drivers on Route 6A during the day saw the torch travel along the Old King’s Highway.

The torch ended its Cape journey about 70 miles later at Bourne Police Headquarters.

The flame will light the Special Olympics games in Boston tomorrow.
