Outer Cape Health Services Accepting Tricare Prescription Transfers

WELLFLEET – Pharmacies run by Outer Cape Health Services are accepting Tricare insurance and are taking transfer prescriptions after CVS was dropped from the department of defense military health system.  

The Tricare system will be accepted at Outer Cape Health Services pharmacies in Wellfleet and Provincetown. CVS will be out of the Tricare network as of Thursday.

Cape Cod Healthcare community pharmacies are also accepting Tricare insurance and prescription transfers.

Outer Cape Health Services serves about 16,500 residents and visitors on the Lower and Outer Cape.
