Outer Cape Health Services Launches New Call Center

HARWICH PORT – A new, high-tech patient call center has been launched by Outer Cape Health Services.

The call center will better manage and coordinate patient services, including appointments and referrals for the organization’s three health centers.

“We will use the latest technology available to gain effeciencies and decrease paper consumption,” said Patricia Nadle, the CEO of Outer Cape Health Services. “This expansion will also allow us to train staff in using our electronic patient medical records in a greater capacity and make information more readily available to healthcare providers, patients and clinical staff.”

The center, which will also house administrative offices by the end of March, operates out of the former Back Office building at 710 Route 28 in Harwich Port.

The call center and offices will be housed on the second floor of the building. Plans call for the first floor of the building to be built out as an expanded community health center which would open in the summer of 2018.

A capital campaign will be launched to fund the nearly $7 million project.

Outer Cape Health Services operates community health centers in Harwich, Wellfleet and Provincetown offering primary care, specialty and urgent care, behavioral health and dental services. The organization also runs two pharmacies in Provincetown and Wellfleet, along with several other specialty programs.

Outer Cape Health Services serves over 16,000 residents and visitors on the Lower and Outer Cape each year.
