Pilgrim Still Subject to Increased Oversight

PLYMOUTH – The Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth will remain under increased oversight from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

In a decision announced yesterday, NRC Spokesman Neil Sheehan says the commission’s mid-year assessment finds that additional oversight is still necessary.

Sheehan added that several inspections of the plant are upcoming.
