Plymouth ‘Lobster Crawl’ to Kick Off with Party This Week

PlymouthPLYMOUTH – The Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce is about to celebrate the start of a two-year free public art exhibit called the Plymouth Lobster Crawl.

The exhibit features 5-foot-tall fiberglass lobster sculptures scattered about downtown and the waterfront, each of them sponsored by a local business and painted by a local artist.

The party will take place at the CabbyShack Restaurant at 30 Town Warf Road on Wednesday, August 31st.

It will begin at 5 p.m. with a trolley tour of the each lobster and will be followed by an awards presentation to the artists at 6 p.m.

The exhibit is completely free and meant to encourage more business in the area. Visitors are asked to share their experience on social media with the hashtag #PlymouthLobsterCrawl.
