YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police arrested a South Yarmouth woman for possession of illegal drugs and driving on a suspended license yesterday.
Officers from the Street Crimes Unit pulled over a black Toyota Prius belonging to Iesha Askew, 22, for a routine traffic stop and discovered she was driving on a suspended license after a run of the vehicles plates.
A search of the vehicle turned up Percocet and other over the counter medications that were in possession illegally, according to Yarmouth Police.
Askew was arrainged today in Barnstable District Court.
