Public Asked to Complete Survey on Wellfleet Hazard Plan

KA_Wellfleet_Town offices hall64_112315WELLFLEET – Wellfleet and the Cape Cod Commission are working to update the Wellfleet Hazard Plan.

The document will identify and assess the community’s natural hazard risks and determine how to best minimize and manage those risks.

An online survey is available for the public to share their opinions and participate in the hazard planning process.

The information provided by participants in the survey will help better understand hazard concerns and lead to mitigation activities that could lessen the impacts of future hazard events.

The 12 question survey can be found at surveymonkey.com/r/WellfleetHazardPlan and surveys must be completed by January 15.

Staff at the Library, Council on Aging, Town Hall and Police Station are available to assist participants on the survey on-line or to fill out a hard copy.
