The Sandwich and Bourne Republican Town Committees will be hosting a “Whistle Stop” Pasta Dinner fundraiser at the Sandwich American Legion on Saturday, May 31.
Donations will be accepted at the door and will go to cover the costs of the dinner and to support the efforts of the Republican Committees.
Many local, state and federal elected officials and candidates are expected to attend the event and speak.
Those who attend and donate will receive a ballot to participate in a Straw Poll for the Republican Candidates running for Congress in the 9th Congressional District.
A presentation will be made to the Sandwich Republican of the Year and the 2014 Sandwich Republican Scholarship Award winner will be announced.
The fundraiser is from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at 20 Main Street, Route 130 in Sandwich.
