CHATHAM – Researchers with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy tagged the first great white shark of the season off Cape Cod Monday.
State shark expert Dr. Greg Skomal tagged the 13-footer off North Beach Island in Chatham.
Researchers have now tagged 107 great whites in Cape waters since 2009.
The conservancy recently began the fourth year of its five year great white shark population study.
