DENNIS – The intersection of Route 134 and Upper County Road in South Dennis will be repaved Tuesday, May 20.
The paving starts at 5 am and will continue until around 5 pm.
Only northbound and southbound traffic will be allowed on Route 134 from Theophilus F. Smith Road to Center Street during the road work.
No turns will be allowed onto Upper County Road from Route 134 during the hours of the construction.
Motorists are asked to select alternate routes.
There will be road detours set up at the following locations:
Great Western Road at South Gages Way;
Upper County Road at Center Street;
Upper County Road at Main Street;
Highbank Road at Main Street.
Local access to homes and businesses will be permitted in these areas but delays should be expected.
The rain date for the work is Wednesday, May 21.
