SANDWICH – Sandwich High School was evacuated Tuesday afternoon after an anonymous threat was received around 1:30.
Sandwich Police and Fire crews along with the State Police investigated the threat.
The students were dismissed without being allowed back in the building, according to Cap. Tim McMahon, of the Sandwich Fire Department.
Emergency personnel cleared the building after 3 p.m. and decided to close the building for the remainder of the night.
Police are still investigating and the school will open tomorrow morning as scheduled.
