WELLFLEET – The Cape Cod National Seashore has been the subject of many pieces of art, but a musical composition inspired by it will be performed this week in Eastham and Wellfleet.

Musicians with the travelling music program from the Curtis Institute will perform a piece commissioned by the National Park Service and written by Jonathan Bailey Holland.

The full piece will be performed on Thursday, July 28th at 7 p.m. at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham and on July 29th at the Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival.

The touring program offers Curtis students professional musical touring experience, and will make additional stops in Woods Hole, Nantucket and Great Barrington this summer.

The Salt Pond Visitor Center is located at 50 Nauset Road, Eastham.
