TRURO – For the second straight year the Truro Center for the Arts will hold a gala event under the summer stars.

On Saturday, August 28 residents and visitors will gather from 6 to 10 p.m. at Edgewood Farm in Truro for the Castle Hill Farm-to-Table Gala.

Attendees will enjoy cocktails and a raw bar that will be followed by a locally sourced farm-to-table dinner by Cosmos Catering.

This year the gala received food donations from Hillside, Longnook Meadow, Nestwood and Pure Joy Farms, along with Slurp Up.

The evening will also be full of live music and dancing.

The Boston-based group The Allnighters will perform. The group is an all-star cast of musicians who have performed and recorded with David Bowie, Chaka Kahn, the Bee Gees and James Taylor.

This year’s gala will honor State Senator Dan Wolf and Bread and Puppet Theater.

Tickets are $350, $300 for Castle Hill members. A table of eight can also be reserved for $2,500. To purchase tickets visit castlehill.org.

The Truro Center for the Arts has worked for more than 40 years to create an inclusive supportive arts community with a wide range of programs for students at all levels.
