BUZZARDS BAY – Bourne firefighters were able to make work of a small fire at a motel in Buzzards Bay Thursday morning.
The flames broke out in a room at the Bay Motor Inn on Main St. just before 10 a.m. Reports indicate it was put out with a fire extinguisher before spreading any further.
Mutual aid was called in from surrounding towns as a precaution. There were no injuries.
