PLYMOUTH COUNTY – The Massachusetts State Police are implementing a sobriety checkpoint in Plymouth County Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25.
The checkpoint will be operated at varying hours and the selection of vehicles is not arbitrary.
Col. Timothy P. Alben, Superintendent of the Massachusetts State Police, said the purpose of the checkpoint is to educate and strengthen the motoring public’s awareness of the need to remove motorists driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
