State Officials Celebrating Earth Week With Plymouth Events

PLYMOUTH – State officials are marking Earth Week with a series of events across Massachusetts, including a number in Plymouth.

Trout stocking at Long Pond will be in focus with two sessions held by Department of Fish and Game Commissioner George Peterson. The event will be held at the west boat ramp on Long Pond Road.

The hour-long sessions are planned for 10 and 11 a.m.

Yesterday, state officials celebrate the Interpretive Forest History Program at the Myles Standish State Forest.
