State Police Arrest Two in Bourne on Heroin Trafficking Charges

BOURNE – A traffic stop in Bourne last night led to the arrest of two people on drug charges.

State police pulled over an SUV driven by  Summer Sargent, 19, of Hyannis. Edwin Rivera, 20, of Mashpee was a passenger in the car.

Troopers say they found 72 grams of heroin in the vehicle.

The two were arrested and charged with heroin trafficking.

Sargent also faces charges of operating under the influence of drugs, as well as numerous motor vehicle violations.
