Ron Beaty is running in the Republican primary for the Cape and Islands State Senate seat.

Ron Beaty is running in the Republican primary for the Cape and Islands State Senate seat.

Ron Beaty of Barnstable is one of two Republicans running in the primary on September 9 for the Cape and Islands State Senate seat. The winner of the primary will appear on the general election ballot against the incumbent, State Senator Dan Wolf.

Beaty calls himself the Republican tea party candidate.

According to information he provided, Beaty is from West Barnstable.

He has more than 20 years experience in the field of real estate management, he holds two Associate degrees, two Bachelor’s degrees, and two Masters degrees (an M.S. in Administrative Studies from Boston College, and an M.Ed. in Educational Technology from Lesley University), and has done substantial gradual-level work in Public Policy (Environmental Policy) at UMass Dartmouth.

He has served in the Army Reserve.
