FALMOUTH – A two-alarm blaze destroyed the Fabric Corner store on Spring Bars Road in Falmouth overnight.
According to Falmouth Deputy Chief Timothy Smith, the fire broke out just before one this morning and had a head start as crews arrived on scene.
The blaze eventually destroyed the building.
The fire is being considered suspicious and remains under investigation.
Also under investigation is a second fire that broke out at the Dollar Store in Falmouth Plaza, not far from the Fabric Corner fire.
Smith said the State Fire Marshall is leading the investigation.
