Third Annual Tour De Trash will Clean Up in Harwich

HARWICH – The Third Annual Tour de Trash in Harwich will be picking up litter at beaches, along roadways and bike trails Saturday.

Volunteers are needed for the event, which lasts from 9:30 to 11:30. They’ll join members of the Harwich Conservation Trust, AmeriCorps, and Harwich Police, Fire, and Highway departments in the cleanup.

Bags for trash pickup, and all the other accouterments like reflective vests, pickers and gloves will all be provided.

Online preregistration will provide additional opportunities for routes. There are plenty of kid-friendly routes to choose from, according to the Trust.
