HYANNIS – If you get checks from the Town of Barnstable and think there’s a possibility you may have missed depositing one or more, the town is asking you to check its website.
Barnstable has set up a notifications section at www.townofbarnstable.us where those who may be owed money are asked to look.
The town said there are many outstanding checks the town has issued that have never been cashed.
