BARNSTABLE – The Barnstable Village cultural district and HyArts cultural district were recently awarded $5,000 each from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Barnstable Village will use the funds for the “Art Meets Nature” project, which will commission signs designed by local artists to attract visitors to ponder the natural local beauty.

The HyArts district plans on using the cash to design, print and distribute a new marketing brochure.
