Two Women Hospitalized After Sandwich Crash

ER medical symbolSANDWICH – Sandwich fire and rescue crews transported two women to the hospital yesterday evening after a two-vehicle crash in Sandwich.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Quaker Meeting House Road and Cotuit Road around 6:20 p.m.

Police said a vehicle driven by Allyssa Cook, 27, of Sandwich, collided with another vehicle driven by Jana Stein, 58, of Centerville.

Cook was cited for failing to yield and both vehicles suffered major front end damage, according to police.

The injuries were described as minor and the crash is still under investigation.
