United Way Merges 2 Support Hotlines

BARNSTABLE – The United Way has merged two support phone services in the state.

The Call2Talk service, which provides mental health and emotional support to help individuals and families through stressful times and help those who may be suicidal, will now be a part of Massachusetts 2-1-1.

The Mass 2-1-1 hotline is a free 24/7 hotline that connects people to essential resources for financial, domestic and health assistance.

To access the Call2Talk hotline or receive other services, dial 2-1-1 or visit www.mass211.org

Locally, the 2-1-1 hotline is made available through the Cape and Islands United Way.
