FALMOUTH – Walkers take to the streets of Falmouth today for the last 10 miles of the Bob Murray Housing with Love Walk.
The 100-mile weeklong fundraising event across Cape Cod began Monday in Provincetown and raises money for affordable housing efforts and homelessness prevention.
The walk gets underway at 11:30 a.m. at the Town Green and travels to Woods Hole before returning to Liam Maguire’s Irish Pub on Main Street around 3:30 p.m.
The event is named in honor of Bob Murray, the walk’s founder and longtime Cape Cod housing advocate.
It has raised over $4.7 million for local nonprofits since its inception in 1993.
