WAREHAM – Wareham Police assisted the DEA during a motor vehicle stop of a U-Haul truck Wednesday afternoon which allegedly uncovered 111 pounds of marijuana.
The truck was stopped on Cranberry Highway in the area of the Wareham Crossing shopping mall.
An investigation during the stop resulted in the seizure of the large amount of marijuana.
The driver of the U-Haul truck, Dean Colpack, 29, of Northhampton, Mass., was arrested on scene and taken to the Wareham Police Department.
Colpack will be arraigned Thursday morning in Wareham District Court on the charge of trafficking in marijuana over 100 pounds.
