Weekend Motorcycle Run to Benefit Program for Seriously Ill Children

BREWSTER – Registration is now open for this weekend’s Paul DeMeo Memorial Motorcycle Run.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, beginning at Patriot Square on Route 134 in Dennis from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. and ending at Nickerson State Park in time for a pig roast beginning at 1 p.m.

The run supports Dream Day on Cape Cod, an organization that supports sick children and their families by hosting them for a week of fun and respite at Camp Nan-Ke-Rafe in Brewster.

DeMeo was a supporter of the organization and lived on Cape Cod for almost 40 years before dying of brain cancer at the age of 65. He was a Vietnam veteran, enlisting in the army at the age of 19.

The ride is first come, first serve and is limited to 300 riders.

General registration is $25, with full registration at $40, a price that includes a t-shirt and food.

Registration is open at www.firstgiving.com/dreamday/dd-motorcycle-run
