WELLFLEET- The Town of Wellfleet is hosting the 7th annual ‘Boogie on the Bay’ on Sunday at Bakers Field in the Wellfleet Harbor area.
The annual festival benefits Friends of Our Recreation (FOOR) and features live music, arts and crafts for sale, food, activities for kids and more.
This year’s musical lineup includes, ‘Breaker Tony C’, ‘The Flakes’, ‘Bruce MacLean’ and headliners the ‘Spampinato Brothers’.
Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.
All the proceeds from donations will go to help provide a variety of resources to kids in Wellfleet, including furnishing uniforms, offsetting traveling expenses, purchasing equipment and undertaking special projects.
“The Wellfleet Boogie is a vital supplement to the town Recreation Budget and allows us to offer additional programming, scholarships and facilities to the children and people of Wellfleet,” said Wellfleet Recreation Director Becky Rosenberg.
“The Recreation Department is very grateful to all the volunteers and sponsors of the Boogie.”
The event runs from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
All attendees are invited to bring blankets and/or beach chairs.
