MASHPEE – Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee will be the site of a event on September 14th that benefits the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The event is open to the public.
The main attraction is what is being billed as a “fireside chat” with famed Boston sportscaster Bob Lobel and Jack Nicklaus and his wife Barbara.
Willowbend owner David Southworth said it will be an interesting presentation.
“They’re fascinating. They talk so candidly about their experiences, not only around golf but around the world. They are just such wonderful people and great ambassadors for the country so it’s special to have them here,” he said.
The Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation was founded in 2004 with a goal of providing world class pediatric care to families.
Tickets are $150 dollars per person and 100 percent of proceeds go to the Foundation. Contact Willowbend for tickets.
