Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Cape Cod and Nantucket on Last Day of Winter

HYANNIS – Winter continues to hold on in the region just before the first day of spring arrives Monday.

The last day of winter is expected to bring high winds to Cape Cod and the Islands Sunday.

A High Wind Warning has been issued from 2 p.m. through 2 a.m. Monday.

Sustained winds will increase throughout the afternoon to 25 to 30 mph with gusts this evening reaching 55 mph.

Little to know snow accumulation is expected, however.
