YARMOUTH – The Clarion Inn on Route 28 in South Yarmouth has been sold for $5 million to a new local owner.
The 114-unit seasonal hotel will now be run by Mark Patel and family, the owners of four other Cape Cod hotels: the Ambassador Inn and Suites in South Yarmouth, the Mariner Motor Lodge in West Yarmouth, the All Seasons Inn and Suites near the Bourne Rotary, and the Admiralty Inn and Suites in East Falmouth.
The Clarion originally opened in 1985 and was an independent hotel before affiliating with Clarion in 2009. It was initially named the All Seasons Resort prior to 2009.
The deal closed last week.
