Yarmouth Police Investigating Violent Home Invasion

KA_Yarmouth_Police station sign_11915YARMOUTH – Yarmouth police are investigating a violent home invasion early Thursday morning.

According to police, a man and woman fled a Monroe Lane home just after 2:30 a.m. and notified nearby officers that they had been beaten and were robbed of a large amount of cash and four loaded handguns by three armed, masked men.

All on duty Yarmouth officers responded to the home to find the suspects has already left the scene.

Police said cash and handguns were taken from two safes. The firearms were licensed and the victims did not require medical treatment.

Yarmouth police are actively searching for the suspects and are warning the citizens that there are four loaded handguns out in the community.

According to police, the suspects spoke Spanish, were all about 6 feet tall with slender builds and are in their late teens to mid-20s. All three wore bandanas around there face to conceal their identities.

The guns stolen were two Smith and Wesson .40Cs, a Smith and Wesson .380C and a KAHR .40C.
