YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police are warning residents of a possible scam from a Yarmouth man soliciting tree service without proper permits or authorization from the town.
The man is known to take advantage of elderly citizens by offering low cost tree services, driveway services or handyman services.
Yarmouth Police recently charged him for soliciting without a permit on Skipper Lane in South Yarmouth.
He drives a red Ford pick up truck with the name American Green Lawn Service on the doors.
American Green Lawn Services is not involved in the scam but sold the truck a while ago and failed to remove their name from the doors.
