Yarmouth Port Man Suffers Head Injury in Lawn Mower Accident

ER medical symbolYARMOUTH PORT – The Yarmouth Fire Department responded Friday to a Marshside Drive home after a man suffered an apparent head injury after falling with a lawn mower into a sunken area.

Lt. Kevin Huck, of the Yarmouth Fire Department, said crews arrived at the scene around 5:30 p.m. and the victim could not remember what had happend.

Rescue crews felt the man, described in his 60s, had suffered a head injury from the fall and called for a medflight to Boston but it was unavailable.

The man was transported to Cape Cod Hospital in stable condition.

Fire officials did not have an update on the man’s condition Saturday morning.
