BHS Hall of Fame to Induct Class of 2014

HYANNIS – The Barnstable High School Athletic Hall of Fame will be announcing its Class of 2014 tomorrow during halftime of the 88th Barnstable-Falmouth Thanksgiving Day football game. After inducting seven annual classes through 2012, the hall of fame committee opted to induct new classes on a bi-annual basis.

This year’s class is no less star-studded than previous inductions and the actual induction ceremony will take place Saturday, Nov. 29 at 11:00 am at The Ridge Club in Sandwich. Inductions had previously been held at the prestigious Oyster Harbors Club in Osterville. All BHS Athletic Hall of Fame inductees and award recipients, as well as the entire athletic history of Barnstable High School, are listed at www.redraiderpride.com. Attendance to the ceremony is typically limited to invitation only due to space constraints.

There are currently 93 former Barnstable High School student-athletes and coaches enshrined in the BHS Athletic Hall of Fame. This year’s induction class will bring the total of those enshrined to 105. Here’s a look at this year’s induction class:
