NORTH EASTHAM – What a spectacular way for senior quarterback Mike Dunn to end the season.

Having been the Dolphins’ (7-4) do-it-all man for most of the season, Dunn scored four touchdowns early this afternoon to pace the Dennis-Yarmouth Green and White to a decisive, 52-0 rout over the host Nauset Warriors. The win was the largest margin of victory in the history of the Nauset-D-Y Thanksgiving Day series and the Dolphins’ 12th straight Thanksgiving Day victory.

This was the 19th time the two teams have met on Turkey Day, otherwise known as The Chowdah Bowl.

Dolphins’ defensive powerhouse Chip Evangelista – who last year helped pace Dennis-Yarmouth to the Super Bowl – was named the D-Y Chowdah Bowl Most Valuable Defensive Player and Nauset’s Ian Donellan received the same award for the hosts. D-Y’s Dunn and Nauset’s Mike Walsh received Chowdah Bowl Offensive Player of the Game honors.
