pair of high school athletes who are our www.capecod.com Athlete of the Week selections: Matt Landry of Sandwich High School and Elijah Baptiste of Barnstable High School. Landry, a 152-lb. junior, turned in an incredible, two-day, 4-0 record in the Marshfield Holiday Wrestling Tournament that culminated yesterday in his championship title. Out of 29 wrestlers in his division – that included Nauset’s Kyle Cambone and Barnstable’s Charlie McWilliams – Landry defeated a previously unbeaten McWilliams with a 3-0 decision in the championship bout. Baptiste, perhaps the most pure outside shooter on the Cape this season some say, poured in 27 points versus a previously undefeated Nauset team Saturday night, preceded by a 25-point night three days earlier against a tough Marshfield team to lead all scorers.
