Job #1 – Director of Adult Education Center – Mid Cape 12270837

Full Time: Develop and supervise all Department of Elementary and Post-Secondary Education (DESE) funded programs and grants. Make timely reports and submit required grant materials to the administration and funding sources. Coordinate public relations and program development. Hire and supervise teaching staff that meet professional standards in the areas of mathematics/numeracy, English for Speakers of Other Languages, reading, and writing. Master’s degree in education or related field required. Three years of experience in Adult Basic Education (ABE) programs. Competence using Microsoft Office Suite, data base systems, and electronic reporting tools. Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings. Job #2 – Water Plant Operator – Upper Cape 12271085

Full Time: Performs responsible and complex duties in operating and maintaining equipment and facilities for new state of the art 8 MGD DAF/Ozone/Filtration surface water plant. Monitors system operation through computerized SCADA system and reviews data. Ensures that all inspections, operational and maintenance functions are performed on equipment and facility grounds. High school diploma and four years’ experience in water or wastewater utility operations at least one year of which is in water treatment plant operations, or college degree and one-year experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience required. Currently holds or has the ability to obtain a Grade T-3 Massachusetts Water Operators License and Class “C” license. Salary range $23.87-$30.41 per hour with full benefits. 

Job #3 – Director of Residential Services – Upper Cape 12271065

Full Time: Provide day-to-day supervision to three Assistant Residential Directors.

Ability to interact with a large multi-disciplinary team of senior managers, nursing and clinical staff and in a corporate environment with senior leadership of various disciplines. Review and conduct quality assurance audits. Conduct DPPC Administrative Reviews in conjunction with the Human Resources Manager. Ensure new Direct Support Professionals are trained according to standards. Provide overall guidance and training to meet State/Federal and Private standards: Quest Certification, MAP, HCSIS and CARF requirements. At least five years of management experience in a similar setting. Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 10+ years’ experience in a similar role in lieu of education may be considered.

Job #4 – Patient Access/Scheduling Specialist – Lower Cape 12258267

Full Time: Assists new patients to access care and assist in orientation to their health center of choice. Enters patient demographics and insurance information into the EHR and checks insurance eligibility. Educates patients in obtaining registration and other form(s) on the website or via other means. Ensures that new patients are scheduled with credentialed provider and follows scheduling guidelines. Requires High School diploma or equivalent, knowledge of basic accounting principles, and basic knowledge of Explanation of Benefits from insurance carriers. At least 2 years prior experience in medical billing in an ambulatory setting.

Job #5 – DPW Supervisor – Lower Cape 12262143

Full Time: Organize and coordinate operations of the departments to include task/project prioritization, resourcing, and scheduling/assignment of staff, equipment and materials.  Manage maintenance of infrastructure assets through a work order system. Will be first respondent for emergency operations such as snow, wind, or rain events. High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience and working knowledge of public construction/maintenance, engineering, and storm water control structures, including installation techniques. Requires current valid Massachusetts CDL and DOT Hydraulic Hoisting Licenses. Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License and public procurement training are preferred. Experience in apartment maintenance preferred, but not required. Must have a valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance coverage as use of personal vehicle may be required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule with weekends and “on-call” basis as necessary. Must be able to perform the following: be on feet, bend/stoop/squat/kneel, climb stairs, push/pull, reach above shoulder, climb ladders, grasp/grip/turn, finger dexterity, lift/carry up to 25 lbs., be able to read and understand maintenance forms and warning labels.

Full Time: Responsible for managing and supervising the business office functions. Primary resource for handling and managing questions/inquiries from residents and their families as well as from our own employees related to, among other things, cash receipts, billing, vendor payments, expenses, payroll and benefits. Coordinates and assists with maintaining accurate employee payroll and benefits data. Manages and supervises all front desk/clerical personnel including scheduling, assignment, direction, performance review, hiring and discipline. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field and two (2) years of experience with business office functions; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three (3) to five (5) years in business office management, finance or accounting preferred.

The Career Center also has a Business Services division that dedicates its efforts to helping job seeker members find jobs and employer members find qualified job candidates. The Career Center offers free use of its rooms to employers who wish to hold job recruitments on-site at the Center. Here they can meet with walk-in job seekers interested in an employer’s available positions. Our Business Services Team can also conduct Specialized Recruitments in which we do the recruiting for the employer.  On the day of the Recruitment, the employer only meets with candidates that have already been vetted by the Business Services Team. This assures the employer that they are meeting with qualified candidates who are interested in the respective positions.
