1-year-old airlifted with burns from Sandwich

SANDWICH – A 1-year-old reportedly suffered burns in Sandwich around 9:30 AM. The victim reportedly suffered the burns from hot tea to parts of the chest and neck at a residence on Farmersville Road. A MedFlight helicopter was requested to land at the Forestdale School on Route 130 to fly the victim to a burn center. Further details were not immediately available.
